Pitch Graph App Reviews

Suggestion!

Great app! I love that you can see and hear what youve played afterwards. One very important suggestion! Does this app only work with A=440? I live in Brazil, here we use A=442. It would be great to be able to change that. I couldnt find any settings in the app. Am I correct to assume that there are no settings available? Thank you!

Thank you!

The best app to test and improve your intonation!

Good for slow notes, mostly

I tested this app on my iPad air. I used a common Yamaha portable keyboard for the test. All the notes on the keyboard showed green (which means they are in tune according to the app), but the green pitch lines were obviously above the blue pitch lines provided by the app. I played amazing Grace on the keyboard, and played some triplets between "amaz" ... "Grace", and the pitch graph could not keep up, even on a modern iPad air. Instead of rapid changes between notes in the triplet that should have produced near – vertical lines connecting horizontal green lines, I saw a bunch of sloped and curvedlines with red sections in them. This means the app could not keep up with even a slow song like amazing Grace. I dont think it would be useful in anything faster.

Extremely useful!

If I could ask for one more thing, it would be better bass support. Then again, Im not sure that the onboard microphone would be able to handle it. Still, its great for intonating your instrument.

Great tool- one problem

Very useful. I just wish there were a button to turn the mic off or to stop the app. If Im trying to review the performance with noise in the room it continues to jump to the insertion point and write new data. Playback feature is a nice touch and the simplicity makes it very easy. Please add mic mute.

Awesome App Awesome Price

For the price tag this app is an absolute awesome buy. It doesnt have a lot of features but it works near perfect for what I needed it to do. I am trying to develop both my ear and my singing pitch why also learning guitar. The app uses my Ipads built in mic to pick up and graph what note I am playing on the guitar, it tells me what note it is, then I can sing or hummm the note. If Im off, which most of the time I am, I can use the graph to guide me in. Different lines also tell you wether you are singing flat or sharp. The built in play back feature doesnt work well at all but I have many other recording apps. If you use the app for more then 5 mins or so, it starts to lag and become less responsive, ether use the clear button on the top left or restart the app. I love this app, it works great on the latest Ipad with the current OS. I cant remember or not lol, but I would have been willing to pay $10.00. Thanks devs, great job.

Best pitch tracker on iOS

I teach our church choir and weve started training them in our new digital world. Ive loaded up my wish list with every pitch software on iOS and "pitch graph" did the best and was the easiest to use. (Cant beat the price) I wish theyd allow an upgrade to store each file and sent via email. Also, silence should be allowed and tracking should still continue. Just my 2 cents. With upgrades I would pay an easy $5

Amazing

I thought of how awesome it would be to have an app that could track pitch over time and was going to have to do it myself, but thankfully found this. I use it during singing practice to review my pitch at the onset of phonation especially. Invaluable tool.

Fantastic ❤️

The best pitcher app yet

Great

Its sample and good app that improving my vocal scales and pitch it can be used for singer and musicians

What is the A?

Good idea for an app, but there is apparently no way to know what the reference tuning of the A is (440? 441? 442?). If there was a setting for that, this apps readout could be in some ways easier to use than Pitch Primer which does offer settings for the A, temperament, and scale with root.
